  • The steps are completely aluminum. The treads and base plate are 5052 aluminum, and the spline and top bracket are made of 6061 structural aluminum.

  • The steps are powder coated and have a 3-year warranty on the finish of the stairs with normal usage. The finish on the custom colors are not covered under warranty. The steps themselves have a 5-year warranty on the product itself.

  • Dawn dish soap and a soft brush.

  • Yes, they can, but the tip on the power washer must be 20 degrees or more.

  • All of the bolts, nuts, and washers are stainless steel, so they will not rust.

  • No, the steps will not rust, they are aluminum.

  • You can fill out an order form on our website. Then our sales team will send you an invoice with your specific details. We accept debit, credit cards, or bank transfers.

  • Steps will be shipped by UPS. We also offer local pickup upon request by customer.

  • Yes, you can go to any local hardware store, and request the PPG color that you have selected, and touch up the paint chip with a small brush.

 
  • The tall steps (Tall Boys) are 64 ½” total from the dock deck to the top of the bracket. They project out from the post 36” to the tip of the base plate.

    The short steps (Shorty) are 34” total from the dock deck to the top of the bracket. They project out from the post 20 1/2” to the tip of the base plate.

    Both sets of steps are 5 ¼” wide.

    These steps are designed to not overhang into the dock slip.

  • The total weight of the tall steps is 19 pounds. The total weight of the short steps are 9.5 pounds.

  • Yes, there is. The orientation depends on how you plan to mount the steps. Are you mounting them on the star board side or the port side? And are you mounting them facing the transom? Or are you mounting them facing the bow? Remember the rounded side goes on the walkway side of the dock, not inside the slip. Left-hand orientation steps can be seen here.

  • When installed per the installation manual, the weight limit for a person to utilize the steps is 350 pounds.

  • Both sets of steps will work on 2” and 2 ½” square dock posts.

  • The steps are made in St. Charles, Missouri.
